The Rossi Lecture Series was established by the UC Davis Department of Viticulture and Enology in 2019 to bring internationally recognized, preeminent scholars in fields related to viticulture and enology to the UCD campus. Rossi Lecturers, in addition to giving a public lecture on their research, will have the opportunity to interact with faculty and students, to share ideas and experiences, with the long-term goal of creating or strengthening ties to our department and campus.
The series honors both the Rossi Lecturers and Louise Rossi and her brother Ray Rossi, who left the transformative Rossi Endowment to the Department of Viticulture and Enology in 2007.
