The Department of Viticulture and Enology offers several on-campus and off-campus programs dedicated to showcasing the latest research, both basic and applied, as well as updated information to keep stakeholders current with respect to skills, methods and professional development.
On-Campus Events

RAVE
Recent Advances in Viticulture and Enology - a program dedicated to showcasing the latest research (both basic and applied).
On Campus Programs
These are theme-based seminars or workshops designed to address current key issues important to the grape and wine industries, as well as continuing education topics for wine industry professionals.
Off-Campus Events
On the Road
Educational seminars serving to not only communicate to the California wine industry the research being done here at UC Davis, but also provide region-specific content. These events serve not only as a forum for us to listen to the issues that are important to grape growing and winemaking professionals, but they provide another opportunity for us to meet our stakeholders in person.

Other Off Campus Programs
These programs take place at the UCD V and E Oakville Station, the Kearney Agricultural Research and Extension Center, and in various counties around the state (through the Cooperative Extension Specialists and the local farm advisors in those regions).
