Job Title: Harvest Enologist
Job Type: Seasonal
Job Description: We are looking for a person to work with our winemaker and vineyard manager to craft the 2025 wines. Harvest at Seavey is a physical undertaking requiring a sharp mind and attention to detail. Duties will include everything from vineyard sampling, lab work, cellar work, grape processing, sensory evaluation, and sanitation. Hard work and a positive attitude will be rewarded with the opportunity to work directly with the winemaker through all facets of harvest management. The REAL BENEFIT of this position is the hands-on education in winemaking. By the end of November your hands will be stained and raw, back will be stronger, and you will understand all harvest duties of a small winery.

We are a small, iconic, family-owned winery in the hills of St Helena dedicated to producing Cabernet Sauvignon from our 40-acre estate vineyard. Our hillside vineyard blocks are the key to producing the powerful, structured wines for which we are known.

Job requirements include prior wine production experience, significant V&E education, or a convincing argument that the candidate is committed to winemaking. The ideal candidate will be bright, hardworking, and excited to be a part of our small team. The work will be 7 days a week with long hours at the peak of harvest in October.

This position will run from mid-August through November.

On-site housing is available.
